Golden Eagles

The Golden Eagles are a subgroup of the Saskatoon Nature Society. Membership is open to retirees and partners interested in the natural world—birds, plants and more—and in its multicultural and historical context. Participants should be members of the Saskatoon Nature Society and should consider membership in Nature Saskatchewan, our provincial affiliate. We generally meet weekly from April to October, and once a month from November to March.

Typically, participants are asked to bring lunch, drinks and chairs unless otherwise noted by the trip leader. Members with CB (channel 28) or FRS (channel 7) radios should bring them on out-of-town trips.

Leaders may request pre-registration for certain destinations. Participation is free, although some destinations may charge admission or encourage donations. Please contact the trip leader if you have any questions.

Unless otherwise arranged, we meet Thursdays at the Churchill Shopping Centre at Taylor St. and Clarence Ave. Departure times vary with the season and destination.

Forestry Farm bird walk

Thursday, April 30, 9:30 to 11 AM

A walk-about to see resident and late winter birds.

Meet at the main parking lot at the end of Forestry Farm Park Drive (near maintenance buildings). If you want to stay for coffee after the walk, bring snacks, drink, chair.

No park entry fee. Washrooms on site.
